What a great discovery! We stayed near this restaurant while on vacation and a neighbor recommended it. It is small and quaint with table seating and a bar. The menu is short but the food was excellent! My wife ordered shrimp and grits and she absolutely loved the grits. I ordered BBQ pork grilled cheese on Texas toast (yes, that's a thing) and it was the best meal I ordered all week. Ashton was working behind the bar and she was engaging and very attentive. She caught something wrong on my order before I did and corrected it right away. The atmosphere is fun and the decor is simple and somewhat artsy. Patrons were all friendly an there was a mixture of ages and families with children as well. They will soon be opening an additional bar upstairs. This was definitely worth eating at and I highly recommend you give them a try. .

AMAZING vibe, food, and people!! This woman owned restaurant was the highlight of my trip to the pier!! We were greeted, seated, and served by great women while we were here and felt at home! The environment was comfortable, calm, and inviting!! The food is AMAZING SO FRESH DELICIOUS AND JUST WOW! I got the mahi tacos during happy hour and they were amazing, the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, the tortillas were easy to bite through and the chips that came with were delightfully crispy! I got a pineapple juice with it that was fresh and sweet! My friends both got the Smash Burgers and COULDNT PUT THEM DOWN IM SERIOUS they literally didn’t eat or drink anything until the burger was done LOL the bun stayed fresh and didn’t get soggy, the meat was juicy, and the burger sauce was DEVINE the fries were perfectly crispy too!! If and when I come back to Wilmington, NC, THIS IS MY FIRST STOP BEFORE MY HOTEL

Had a great experience at this cute beach restaurant! Staff was friendly, we didn’t wait long for food, and everything we ate was fantastic! Our group got the firecracker shrimp tacos, fish tacos, fish sandwich, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, shark burger, charred corn tomato salad, etc. and everything was great!! Would go back.

Get the local oysters with a local beer. Perfect combo. The shrimp tacos were also a hit. I think you pay a little extra because of the location close to beach but well worth it. Happy hour pricing is a deal! Seating inside and out is limited but they have a decent sized bar.

This place has amazing food!! The atmosphere seemed very nice inside, however we chose to dine outside which was very nice and calm. No beach view but the area around the restaurant was very nice and quiet. They made great use of the space which was very impressive for such a small storefront. The drinks were pretty good, nothing super super impressive but they were good in their simplicity. The food however was some of the best I’ve had. The Steak Frites was amazing. It was perfectly cooked and the combination of the cream sauce, arugula, and steak was so delicious. The service was quick and efficient but did leave some personality to be desired. I wish we had gotten some suggestions and recommendations but our waitress was knowledgeable of the menu when we asked questions and the origin of the oysters we ordered as well. The food delivery was much quicker than I expected for being on a wait. Would visit here again!

Don't be fooled: Despite appearances, this is a fancy restaurant. You won't get those artsy smears, swooshes or dots on your plate, and, yeah, your beer comes in a can, but you will be treated to a meal that is a giant step above the usual beach restaurant. The garbanzo/avocado salad is a visual as well as tasty delight, the shrimp and grits feature crunchy bits of pork belly, the crab cake is huge. Definitely would go again.
